(Not just Flash, either). Although vector based, the files become huge. I don't know how a bitmap based program could work on this very large scale. Most freelancers don't have the capability to handle larger files. I'm happy digital storyboards are being promoted, but what is being taught at the lab is not exactly the same as what we are doing. I oversee over ten industry veterans on the project I am working on. One cannot underestimate the expertise traditional 2D animators can bring to these paperless projects.
The future's been here for years- the rest of the world is just catching up.-Mark ZoellerAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22906998.post-1150180860862732292006-06-12T23:41:00.000-07:002006-06-12T23:41:00.000-07:00Fantastic! The entire production is using Cintiqs and Acer laptops (tablet PC's). The production is almost entirely paperless and being done completely in-house right in Hollywood. Nothing is being shipped overseas!

Yes, the future is here. ;)Steve K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12666158274505730209noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22906998.post-1149967434102512452006-06-10T12:23:00.000-07:002006-06-10T12:23:00.000-07:00The Mirage digital storyboard class taught by Rust...The Mirage digital storyboard class taught by Rusty Mills is going strong here at the Lab.
