Its mission is to provide assistance to employees in the movie and television industry, whether union or non-union. It runs six health clinics and the Motion Picture Country home in Woodland Hills.<BR/><BR/>The <B>Motion Picture Industry Pension and Health Plan</B> was started in 1955 as a union plan under the Taft Hartley Act.
