March of the 2015 Wage Survey

Last month, TAG launched its latest industry wage survey. We sent out the largest number of survey questionnaires we have ever distributed. To date, we've received 27% of them back, which places us below last year's rate but above previous percentages.

To date, we've had the highest number or responses in the survey's history, but not the highest percentage returns.

We're extending the window to mid-August. If you know somebody who hasn't yet filled out their questionnaire, get on them about it., because the bigger our sample the more useful the results.

I note the complete absence of 2D animators, and I'm not just talking about pencil animators, but also Flash and Toon Boom animators. Are there really no 2D animators in union shops?

There are some, but not many. The full 2014 wage survey, found here ...

.... does include 2D animators. They weren't listed on the partial list in the post above.
