Stock analyst Vasily Karasyov anticipates DreamWorks Animation wil gain a $100 million profit from Kung Fu Panda 3, $25 million from Trolls, $25 million from Boss Baby (January 2017), and $104 million from The Croods 2.
Predicting the profits of motion pictures is always risky, but if Karasyov is half right, DWA should be around for a while.

Seems that the difference explaining the success between DWA and Pixar is DWA is dependent on Katzenberg and Pixar has a team of 6-7 core directors who can rescue an animation project.
We read the previous DWA Chief Creative officer left last year.

I frankly don't know where DreamWorks Animation is going in the next ten years. It will either regain it's footing and be purchased by some other corporate entity ...
Or it will not regain its footing and be bought by some other corporate entity.
Mr. Katzenberg is in his mid sixties, so how much longer he's going to want to run the studio is anyone's guess.
