Disney and Warners...

Guess who? Just now the two congloms (the WB and Diz) are travelling at different speeds. I visited both yesterday... Over at Warners, the place is quiet...and pretty empty. A few designers and board artists scattered about, some producers and writers, but not too many desks are occupied at present. A direct-to-video superheroes feature is wending its way through pre-production. Outside of that, Warners is autumnal. Disney Television Animation? A more lively place. "Emperor's New School" has been picked up for its second season, with an order of eighteen 1/2 hours episodes (thirty-six 11-minute segments.) "Mickey's Clubhouse" is awaiting a pickup -- most likely to commence in January. "Kim Possible" is finishing season #5, with crew working on final episodes. "Phineas and Ferb" have board artists building shows from outlines (a la Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon.) "American Dragon's" season is complete, and the powers-that-be will decide about a new season shortly. "Replacements" is through pre-production and shows are in editorial. "My Friends Tigger and Pooh" (this is the CGI version of Milne's money machine) is nearing the end of storyboard work. The Disney TVA shorts program continues...

Isn't Warner's also working on Bah Humduck? Or has that finished production already?

If you're talking about Daffy as Scrooge, that was completed some little time ago. I blogged about how good it looked last month.
