Above, facing southeast from the second floor
The second floor of our future headquarters building at 1105 N. Hollywood Way will feature an auditorium for membership meetings and special events. The view above shows where the elevator to the lobby will be located.
The southwest corner of the building -- the part that juts out closest to the street -- will feature a gallery, adjacent to the new lobby, for shows featuring members' art.
The photo at right faces east (towards Hollywood Way), showing the inside of the gallery space. The crew is almost finished installing the first-floor duct work, and as soon as the steel reinforcements are fully in place, they will be blocking out the first-floor rooms and starting interior construction.
As of now, construction is due to be finished in February 2009. (More photographs to come ...)
