All in all, a pretty fair year for U.S. based, theatrical animation, wouldn't you say?

Add in all of the work done for the live-action movies Iron Man, Prince Caspian, and Mummy 3 and it was a dominant year for animators.
Can't forget Blue Sky's work on Horton either.
Also note that currently, 4 of the top 10 domestic movies of 2008 are animated (WALL-E at #5, Panda at #6, Madagascar 2 at #7, and Horton at #10.
Definitely not a bad year for animation.
