After a lengthy afternoon of talks and caucuses, caucuses and talks, agreement was reached Thursday afternoon on a collective bargaining agreement that will run from November 1, 2006 to October 31, 2009. The Animation Guild's negotiating committee endorsed the new pact unanimously.
The agreement will be submitted for a ratification vote of Disney Feature Animation employees within the next few weeks. We will, of course, be posting more details -- like the Memorandum of Agreement -- when language has been reviewed and finalized.

Congratulations on a great job. After all the delays, that really went quickly, didn't it? It sounds like you all negotiated a very good contract, so props to everyone on the committee, and to all the TSL folks who made their voices heard during the preparations for the negotiation.
