So, in other democratic countries members of a union can vote, despite being unemployed!
- Guess we still in this union go by the same old… same old rules… Maybe its time for our members to talk about this, before the … same old… same old elected union representatives decide to go on as usual.
Maybe we need more elections when members have come with new suggestions for different procedures or union related ideas. I mean more influence…

!!! Maybe once a year having a meeting or announcement, where different suggestions turned in will be discussed to be up for voting among the members.

Or should we do what we always do, leave everything as usual… Except a union representatives story about nothing is possible because it was tried before…
Well, maybe I should keep my mouth shut… since I only paid my union dues. Whatever, I am just a union member being unemployed, so why do I feel any right to have influence?

Maybe I shouldn't care...

Not quite sure what the above is about, because it's not making much sense to me. In case it's not clear to the writer above or anyone else, any active member of the union can vote, and being an active member depends upon paying one's dues, not staying employed.

As for having a yearly meeting where members can make suggestions, and vote on them? Hey, how about we do it every two months, six times a year, and call 'em general membership meetings, and send of invitations to each and every member to come.
