Hi Steve,
Just a short note to tell you how much I appreciate seeing these examples of your Dad's art. Gouache is also my paint of choice, so I really admire his handling of the medium. From all of the samples you've posted over these last couple years, I can see how he had developed several distinct series of themes. I particularly love the ones with the two deer amidst those majestic trees, as well as the ones with the multiple, cute elf-like Santas. Thanks again for sharing such absolutely charming work with your readers, and a Merry Christmas to you all at the Animation Guild!
