But Disney came calling again, and Mr. Norman returned to work on Bedknobs and Broomsticks and Robin Hood, and then it was on to layout, animation and screenwriting at Hanna-Barbera and other cartoon fun factories ...

Man, Floyd's voice sounds SO MUCH like Regis Philbin....did anyone else notice that?

Just wondering - did Floyd leave Disney after the Jungle Book because of Walt's death?

No, Floyd departed Disney a few months prior to Disney's death (December 1966) to form his own company.

He told me that "Jungle Book's" story crew had wrapped things up when he left.
