DreamWorks Animation's newer trailer of its Fall offering:



I've watched bits and pieces of this feature on various computer screens in Glendale. What I like about it is, the look is different, the story vibe is different.

It's become evident as the years roll on that DWA doesn't have one "house style." Shrek has one dynamic, How to Train Your Dragon and the Madagascars have others. What's often overlooked by outsiders is, DreamWorks has developed in-house creators who have different approaches to story-telling, and the company lets them take their different creative roads.

The place has evolved from where it was in the days of its hand-drawn beginnings.
