Worldwide Box Office

Some animated feature accumulation's around the world:

Foreign Weekend Box Office -- (Worldwide Accumulations)

Gravity -- $27,100,000 -- ($426,696,013)

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 -- $11,500,000 -- ($176,495,177)

Turbo -- $12,300,000 -- ($269,046,855)

Hotel Transylvania -- $5,700,000 -- ($354,013,048)

Despicable Me 2 -- $2,900,000 -- ($911,775,860)

Planes -- $2,400,000 -- ($212,730,000)

Free Birds -- $0 -- ($16,200,000)

What strikes me is the large number of animated features in release ... most of them making respectable money.

And Diz Co. is having good times with a feature that is only a little bit CG:

Thor: The Dark World opened to a sizeable $109.4 million at the foreign box office a week ahead of its North American debut, marking another victory for Marvel Studios and parent company Disney.
