The American Arbitration Association tallied up the ratification ballots for the new TAG 839 Collective Bargaining Agreement, and we have a new three-year deal.
With slightly fewer counted ballots than in 2006, the 2009 percentages are:
Yes -- 91.3%
No -- 8.5%
blank - .2%
The percentages from the 2006 ratification vote were:
Yes -- 93.4%
No -- 5.7%
blank -- .8%
We live in unhappy times, so the differences from 2006 are not super surprising.

Good to hear that we have a ratified contract, without the drama that some of our union neighbors thrive on.
To the negotiating committee, thanks for all your hard work!
