Deadline says this:

... Looks to be Fox/DreamWorks’ How to Train Your Dragon 2 or Sony/MGM’s 22 Jump Street in the third spot; both have been playing quite well with during their four weeks in the marketplace. ...

Odd, isn't it? So much of the entertainment (and financial) press has been bleating: "Dragons 2! Underperformer! Dragons 2! Underperformer!" that it's kind of a shock to read one of them saying that its performance is a bit of alright.

But here we are in early July, and the movie is still in 3000+ theaters pulling down steady cash. I always thought the picture would accumulate four times its opening weekend gross, which would be $200 million, all in. I still think it will be near that figure when all the greenbacks have fluttered to earth, but I guess we'll see.
