Need some blogging help...
This is a call out to all you blogging experts. I having trouble uploading photos into the blog. I'm simply trying to upload photos from my desktop into a post. When I do it in Safari (on my three-year old iBook) I can grab the picture, but Safari crashes after I hit "upload." If I do it from IE, the browse feature doesn't work, and I can't even grab the photo. What the hell am I doing wrong?! And yes, the photo is well under 50k. Help!

I would try using Firefox. It should work in Safari, but I have no experience doing it that way. Forget about IE.
This might cost you a couple of bucks, but I use MarsEdit (http://ranchero.com/marsedit/), which has a pretty good interface for dealing with pictures. It will also keep track of images you've uploaded, so that you can easily insert them into other posts. I find it much more pleasant than trying to work within a web-based interface.
Check to see if your file name has a ".jpg", ".tif" or whatever on the end. Without that, I don't think their upload program knows what to make of the image.
I blog using Safari and this was an initial problem I ran into. (Safari at home on a Mac , IE at work on a PC-- both work fine)
Thanks guys. I'll look into Firefox and MarsEdit. Chris, I've made sure the photos have the proper extensions. Safari just simply crashes a moment after i hit 'upload.' I think I have the most recent version of Safari, but maybe I should check that, too, since I also notice I don't have some of the blog editing functions when I'm in Safari that I have when I'm using IE..
