Animation Centennial

Today is apparently the 100th birthday of animation! Who knew? I mean, she doesn't look a day over 75. Anyway, go to the ASIFA Animation Archive blog for the details, and for info on their centennial party tonight. I haven't been over to the Archive's building in a few months, but from the looks of the picture on the blog, they've spiffed it up nicely. It's definitely worth a visit, and what better time than for a centennial celebration? See you there.

Hmm. So animation is five years older than Joe Barbera.

Bet he's pissed.
