The British graffiti artist Banksy is credited with designing the opening sequence of Sunday night's episode of The Simpsons (the first 1:45 of the episode).
Kudos to KC Johnson for directing, and apologies for the advertising ... the cost of posting it legally.

Thanks to this opening, we have successfully revealed to the general public that animated television is, in fact, outsourced to other countries. Now that we have them caught up on the last thirty or so years of animation process, maybe they can appreciate the hard work behind it more.
Maybe it was the overseas animation staff that was threatening to walk out!
