Our blog policy regarding the election

On Tuesday, October 5, TAG's Executive Board voted not to allow any electioneering on the TAG Blog.

The problem is that any electioneering on a union-sponsored forum such as this has the potential of putting the Guild in violation of Department of Labor regulations regarding union campaign practices. The comments from a previous post that comprised electioneering have been deleted.

There will be further posts about the election process, and the candidate statements from the election issue of The Peg-Board will be posted, but no comments will be allowed on those posts. Also, from now until November 13, all comments will be moderated, and any-off-topic comments will be deleted.
