Hotel Transylvania Voice Talent

My friends at Sony Pictures just sent me this news:

... Miley Cyrus ... is joining the cast of Sony Picture Animation’s Hotel Transylvania as the über-vamp’s teenage daughter Mavis. Adam Sandler is voicing the famous blood-sucker ...

It would appear to me that after years of development, the movie is really and truly being made.

Well, she turned "Bolt" into the blockbuster powerhouse it was, so what could possibly go wrong with this?

WHO?

Your headline is misleading. You used the word "talent".

Her raspy ugly nasal vocals may be put to a good use as long as she is playing one of the monsters

You are mean and bitter. Sad.

Do not worry, Cirus is not even close to the worst thing about that film.

That thing is turning out to be one of the most expensive cartoons ever made.

8 directors, somewhere around 16 "writers," and a gaggle of "producers" later, they're no closer to a film anyone would care about than they were when they started 6 years ago.

And the current director doesn't exactly have a stellar reputation in the business.

The current director doesn't have a good reputation? But isn't Genndy still on this? And everything he's done has certainly be artistically (if not financially) successful.

Art wise, ok. Hang it on a wall.

But he can't tell a story.

I think Sony's discovering that's a key element they should have considered in hiring a director about now.

Symbionic Titan's story was getting really good before it got canceled, and also Dexter's Lab showed he has a talent for comedy which should be crucial in making this movie worthwhile at all.

Genndy's Clone Wars, much better than the new batch, and he could tell a story if there was one.

I wouldn't begrudge fans of those shows, but that doesn't mean he can tell a story--especially in longer form. Clone wars, in particular, sucked.

He totally can tell a story, just maybe not for someone who is obviously bitter and way older than the target demo.

It looks like I just walked in on an Anonymous Bitch-Slap Fest going on here. Can't you guys at least create some distinct online handles so we can tell you all apart?
