Angry Birds, the series

When the wave is still tumbling toward shore, ride it.

The 52-episode animated Angry Birds series - each between two to three minutes in length - is being produced by Rovio at its in-house production studios in Finland but co-production partners are being sought, Rovio’s head of animation Nick Dorra told the Mip TV audience in Cannes. ...

I'm one of the few upright, carbon-based life forms that hasn't seen or played Angry Birds. But I know a big hit when I see it.

And in 2014, Angry Birds, the Feature.

Good for them. They produced some nice looking Angry Birds shorts. Better than most of the garbage I see on TV these days. Glad to see it going further.

Id rather see a series of the Pixar short "For the Birds," where this idea originated.

jester says: Well, everybody knows that the bird is the
word. First the series, then their going to make a angry birds movie. Not a t.v. special or direct-to video, a theatrical movie. Which well come out till 2014, I hope the movie idea doesn't make you want to "flip the bird" at Rovio.

Only 3 minutes per episode? A bit short for television, don'cha think?

yeah, cause Pixar invented everything.

You said that, no one else. But the angry birds bear an uncanny resemblance to the Pixar short (albeit the angry birds being far inferior). And the Pixar short came first.

That was my sarcastic response done in my best Pixar-Fan-Boy impersonation to the comment "where this idea originated". No where in that original comment did it say something about character design. (besides, everything done these days has an uncanny resemblance to something else).

he Pixar love fest is getting old.
