The fifth place Panda 2 has now collected $264.7 million from around the world, with more openings this weekend. But the 3D premium seems to be receding in many venues. As Britain's Daily Mail notes:

Kung Fu Panda 2 opens in cinemas this weekend and the industry is praying that the chubby panda with a knack for martial arts will kickstart box office takings for 3D films, which like many cinema-goers are beginning to give film studios a headache. ...
