Designing and supervising Sebastian the calypsonian crab, supervising Abu in "Aladdin," then designing and supervising the villainous Governor Ratcliffe in Pocahontas highligted Duncan's versatility with wildly different kinds of characters.

Mr. Marjoribanks continues to be a force in animation, working as both a CG and hand-drawn animator in the 21st century. Among more recent credits: Meet the Robinsons, Kung Fu Panda, and The Princess and the Frog.

This guy really has a depth & breadth of experience, both in the places & projects worked on, and the animation chops to have carried him through it all, in comparison to most of the other old 2D animation veterans; who’re primarily in the crib of one studio or another for the majority of their careers. To be honnest some parts of this interview seemed a little too quiet, reserved, [and even awkward] in some respects, but I guess you’re dealing with a very reserved personality.

Quiet and reserved, yes. However, Duncan is a major talent and I've been lucky enough to work with him on occasion. We need more like him, that's for sure.
