Roger Dickes at the TAG Computer Lab Today

Once again our computer lab is hosting a guest specialist, this time in Maya. Roger Dickies is an instructor at Glendale Community College and was a Technical Director on "South Park"...

His other credits include work as a Technical Director at Disney Imagineering on "Riverside Bridge," a Digital Modeler at Motion Analysis Studios, and as a Character Setup Consultant.

Ken Roscos has taken classes under Roger and reports he has some creative approaches to Maya. Roger's talk will be Monday Oct. 2 at 7 PM, at the TAG Computer Lab, 4729 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood. Please RSVP at lab@animationguild.org, and look for a reply from roskotron@hotmail.com.

Thanks Kevin, it should be a great evening.

Beyond guest lectures, the Guild computer lab is here to help out all Guild members if they need to brush up on a software package you might not have at home, (or if you're just curious about something).

Help is available for most software questions at lab@animationguild.org

With all that's going on in digital production, I want to help give our members every opportunity to stay afloat.
