He helmed the first Disney CGI feature, Chicken Little, created under the Eisner, David Stainton regimes. Mark counts the Warner Bros. animation canon and Howard Hawks as influences.

having worked with mark back on "Cats Don't Dance" I can say that he is one of the good ones - a pleasure to work with, a great mentor and always ready with a snack. The man was riddled with little Tupperware containers filled with grapes, peanuts, granola - he was a walking vending machine.

Yeah. I've seen him on a documentary on the Chicken Little DVD where he always goes to a screening with a snack. including pretzels. Yum!

Great interview. I'm currently working for him on "Me and my Shadow." He's been great to work for and is such a nice guy.

Great interview, but lacks the usual "Top 5" at the end.

Reason for that.

Mark's secretary came into the conference room when we were already ten minutes over. I shut off the recording doo hickey just before she said he had another appointment.

Mr. D. is, after all, a busy man.
