Animation Abroad

Blue Sky Studios has itself another hit:

... Ice Age: Continental Drift, which introduced itself via 20th Century Fox to 9,505 [foreign] screens including some 4,200 3D venues in 34 markets for a weekend take of $78 million for an average of $8,206 per site. It ranks No. 1 on the weekend. ...

And DWA's latest still runs strong:

... Third on the weekend was DreamWorks Animation’s Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted, which drew $16.2 million in its fourth round overseas ...

Meantime, the red-haired lass with the long bow earned $6.7 million and placed fifth for the weekend. Most of Brave's foreign venues have not yet open.
